Sushi Revisited

Nate and I went to Sushi Ya one last time before the semester ended. I conditioned my body all day to prepare for maximum intake of sushi. This involved eating a large breakfast and then eating nothing but a few m&ms for until 7:30 pm when we finally got to the restaurant.

I was such a happy camper.

When we talked about the amount of sushi we ate in terms of money, all I could see was this:

But it really went down like this:

And in this example we can see "Sushi Pride" has yet again made an appearance. I ate like a man, but I couldn't eat as much as Nate. I was still very content with my sushi choices and I was ready to consume more around 1:00 am.

PDA

It has been so nice this week! the sun has been out every day! If you know me then you know that I love the sun. If I could I would marry it. Or eat it with every meal. (no, vitamin D doesn't count as eating the sun.)

The only problem with the sun being out is the couples. They all sit on the grass, bathing in the warm sunlight, and gazing lustfully into each others eyes.

I am a fairly affectionate person, but one of my biggest pet peeves is people making public displays of affection. (but oddly enough, I am okay watching public displays of rejection) I am actually not even one for holding my boyfriend's (past tense...) hand in public. There are students all intertwined on the grass - you can't tell when one person begins and the other ends. I try my best to ignore them, but they are like twitterpated rabbits and they are EVERYWHERE!

Do to the fact that many of the students share living space with 4 or more people and members of the opposite sex are not allowed in one's bedroom, lovers feel the need to exhibit their affection in front of strangers. But can't they at least go to a park or something? I don't want to have to walk past clusters of couples making out on my way to my studio. It messes with my inspiration! (not really, but it sounds dramatic.)

  • Fine Indian food! ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40bPByVI324)
It's the best day of the yeeeear!

Sarah even made us the proper cupcakes to celebrate this event.

we spent all afternoon and well into the evening shopping. This may come as a shock to you, but we don't actually have that much money, so we stuck to the basics like Forever 21, H&M, and Cotton on. As I was in line to purchase my owl t-shirt I noticed that Sarah was over looking in a bin. Of Socks.

Now if you have seen the Episode of Parks and Recreation "Pawnee Rangers" you will understand this reference.

Sarah did eventually treat herself - though not to a Batman costume - a spankin' hot dress!!

And all was right with the world.

Can't wait until next Treat Yo Self day!
